The present general conditions of sale apply to sales made between Villa Magnan (11 rue Mouriscot, 64200, Biarritz) and the Client.


RESERVATION & DEPOSIT

The rates communicated are public, in €, taxes and services included, with the exception of the tourist tax which will be added to the total of the invoice. The amount of the tourist tax may vary according to any legal provisions that may be adopted. The price of the room(s) agreed at the time of booking and paid by the customer is the definitive rate. The customer will not be able to claim a change of rate on his/her confirmed reservation in the event of subsequent promotions offered by the establishment via its reservation service, its website or other partner sites. All bookings will be confirmed after receipt of an initial deposit, with the balance due before the customer's arrival under the following conditions:


For the flexible rate :

A refundable deposit of 50% is taken at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 days before arrival and will be deducted automatically.


For the non-flexible rate:

Full payment at the time of booking, non-refundable, non-changeable.

Payment of the first deposit confirms the booking and implies acceptance of our general terms and conditions of sale and cancellation. If the balance due is not paid by the agreed date, the holiday will be considered cancelled by the customer and the terms and conditions of sale will apply accordingly.

In the event of payment by bank transfer or credit card, the bank charges must be paid by the customer and added to the total amount of the holiday. Payment by cheque or in foreign currency cannot be accepted.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Interruption of stay and unused services

Any holiday interrupted by the customer or any services booked and not used by the customer for any reason whatsoever, including medical reasons and force majeure, will not give rise to any reimbursement.

Cancellation and modification by the customer

In the event of a no-show or the customer's inability to arrive on the scheduled date, 100% of the nights concerned will be charged. In the event of a no-show, the customer has 24 hours to inform the hotel of a new arrival date. After 24 hours, the hotel reserves the right to resell the room. We advise customers to take out an insurance policy covering cancellation costs.

All bookings are subject to the following cancellation conditions:

For the flexible offer:

Cancel your booking 30 days before arrival to receive a refund of the deposit or pay the remaining 50% of the stay, plus taxes (direct debit). Free changes up to 30 days before arrival, plus the price difference if applicable.

For non-flexible :

Full prepayment at the time of booking, non-refundable, non-changeable.

Cancellation by the hotelier

The booking contract may be terminated by the hotelier without giving rise to the payment of damages to clients in the event of an event constituting force majeure, or in the event of the hotel being unable to operate. Any deposits paid by the customer will be refunded.

CONDITIONS OF STAY & LIABILITY

On booking, you will be asked to state the number of people - adults and children - occupying the room, as well as the surnames and first names of each person. Under no circumstances may the number of people exceed the maximum capacity of the room.


Animals are not accepted.

Arrival and departure times must be respected, failing which the customer will be subject to additional charges corresponding to the price of the extra night.

Arrival: Between 3pm and 7pm Departure: 11am

Any extras consumed by guests must be paid on the day of departure at the latest by credit card or in cash at reception, or via the online check-out form.

The Client undertakes to respect private and communal areas and will be held responsible for any damage caused. Any behaviour contrary to public decency or public order will lead the hotel management to ask the Client to leave the establishment without any compensation or reimbursement.

A set of house rules is available on the premises. Please read and respect them.

Complaints

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you have any complaints, please let us know when you arrive at the hotel or afterwards. All complaints must be made in writing within 10 days.

Any request for a specific orientation or characteristic of accommodation is considered as a preference and does not constitute a contractual guarantee. It cannot give rise to any right to compensation.

Any dispute concerning the interpretation and execution of these conditions that cannot be settled amicably will fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Bayonne and will be governed by French law.
